Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join our team. This role supports multiple locations within the state and region, delivering patient care and performing both clinical and front-desk duties.

You will work closely with a primary care physician to ensure a smooth patient experience, handle vitals, injections, blood draws, and care coordination while adapting to different settings.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• Certification/registration strongly preferred where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review prior medical information to inform the provider.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture and injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per orders.
• Coordinate care with the team to address gaps in care.
