Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support multiple locations across the state and region. The role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical duties, providing patient care and ensuring a smooth visit experience for every patient.

You will travel as needed, adapt to different clinics, and work closely with primary care providers to deliver high-quality care and excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• MA certification or registration strongly preferred; required where state mandates it.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, assist with procedures.
• Administer approved medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as directed.
