Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join our team. The role covers multiple locations within the state and possibly across states, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a seamless guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and assisting with clinical duties. The position offers travel to various locations, a starting pay range of $22.00–$28.00 per hour, and a

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred/required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and clean.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines; process test results and communicate them timely.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
