Job summary

Marathon Health in Indiana seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our float team, covering multiple locations. You will work with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and an exceptional guest experience while handling front desk duties and clinical tasks.

This role requires flexibility, travel within the state, and a willingness to adapt to different sites. 1 year MA experience, MA program, CPR/BLS, and potential phlebotomy experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program is required.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; certification may be required in some states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are prepared and stocked.
• Review patient information and update health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, assist with procedures and coordinate with labs.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Document data accurately in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
