Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a Float role across Indiana locations. You will support a primary care team, perform clinical tasks, and serve as a shuttle between sites to ensure seamless patient care and guest experiences.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, rooming, and front-desk duties. Travel within the state is required; CPR/BLS is mandatory at start date; MA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; collect specimens and manage lab requests.
• Assist with injections, medications and immunizations under Provider direction.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and coordinate tests.
