Marathon Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support multiple locations across the state and region. The role blends clinical and front-desk duties, requiring flexibility and travel as needed.

You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient-centered care, perform vitals, injections, blood draws, and assist with procedures while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in the medical record according to guidelines.
• Process test results and provide timely results to patients as directed.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments.
