Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment supports Med Surg operations, with responsibilities spanning patient care, staff supervision, and department workflow optimization.

Required credentials include a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg. Competitive, weekly pay with a $3/hour differential is offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
