Required licensure and certifications include an active RN license plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS; at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg is expected. Weekly pay and a $3/hour differential are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire and maintain current.
• One year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
