Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift assignment in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week travel role supports Med Surg departments with award-winning hospital partners, offering up to $672–$768 gross per shift ($56–$64 per hour).

Requirements include a current state RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS on hire, and at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg; immediate and flexible opportunities await with dedicated career specialists guiding

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing and workflow management.
Supervises, directs and evaluates team members.
Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment and resources.
Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
Supports a safe, high‑quality, and patient‑centered care environment.
Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
