Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will cover nights in Med Surg, assist with department operations, and provide direct patient care as needed.

A competitive pay package includes a $672–$768 gross per shift plus a $3/hour differential. Requirements include an active state RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License.
BLS (AHA) certified upon hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) certified upon hire and maintained.
PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
