Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers paid weekly payroll, a $3/hour differential on top of base pay, and opportunities with award-winning hospital partners across the nation.
You must hold a current state RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS on hire; prior charge nurse experience in Med Surg is required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
- PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
- Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
- Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
