Qualifications

• License required if applicable.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg LPN experience required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit.
• 13-week travel assignment.
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a).
• Provide direct patient care under RN direction including physical examination, ADLs, education, medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in care delivery.
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks commensurate with staff experience and education.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Previous CHS perm staff employees are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years.
