American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment in Louisiana. The role requires at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience and prior travel nursing.

Prerequisites include an active LA license or compact, BLS, IV therapy experience, and one reference. You will float as needed and orientation includes EMR training; 18:45–07:15 shifts for 13 weeks.

Qualifikationen

• Active LA state or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs required.

Aufgaben

• Medical Surgical unit (Med Surg A4).
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Floating within the hospital required as needed.
• Orientation includes a virtual first day followed by two on-site days with additional EMR training.
• Must disclose any license disciplinary actions at time of consideration.
• Candidates with recent professional cancellations will undergo additional review prior to consideration.
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Holiday RTO requests should be kept to a minimum.
• Local candidates are not accepted and permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
