American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing unit. Requires 2+ years of experience and IV certification for night shift coverage. Night shifts include 6p-6a with some 10p-6a, 8- and 12-hour shifts.

Candidate must have BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and be prepared to provide two professional references. Travel rate eligibility follows radius rules.

• Care for patients with dementia, diabetes, hypertension, CKD, falls risk, and ADL needs.
• Nurse on PCC EMR system; medication administration and IV therapy.
• Night shift 6p–6a, with some 10p–6a shifts; 8- and 12-hour options.
• 40 hours per week; rotations every other weekend and holiday.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) post-acute setting
• Care for patients with dementia, diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, falls risk, and ADL assistance needs
• Units have 20-22 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:22
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system
• Night shift schedule including 6p-6a and some 10p-6a shifts, both 8- and 12-hour shifts available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Scheduled for 40 hours per week
• Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, and assistance with ADLs for a post-acute LTC/SNF population
• Facility-specific orientation consists of 1-2 shifts
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 80 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
