Job summary

TeamLINX is seeking a meticulous Low Voltage QA/QC Specialist to ensure top-tier cabling quality for hyperscale data centers. The role focuses on fiber and copper installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specs, and safety regulations.

The position requires 3–5 years in network cabling, strong knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI, and proficiency with cabling testing tools. Travel across the country is required.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in network cabling, including fiber and copper installations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and QA processes.
  • Proficiency with cable testing tools; project management software a plus.
  • Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct QA/QC inspections of network cabling projects for standards, safety, and client requirements.
  • Perform job-site inspections, verify scopes, including materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Supervise cabling crews to ensure efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation quality checks to validate connections and system functionality.
