TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Bishop, California. The right RN should have 3 years' recent acute care experience. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

L&D Travel Nurses provide care before, during and after delivery, assist physicians with epidurals or cesarean prep, and ensure newborn care. The position offers travel benefits and weekly pay to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and dilation.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments and epidurals as needed.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
