Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Delano, California. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. The RN should have 3 years of acute care experience and relevant L&D certifications.

As a travel LD RN you will monitor labor, assist with delivery, and provide newborn support while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS, AWHONN.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Support physician with delivery procedures and newborn care.
• Assist with delivery instruments and immediate newborn care.
