Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Riverside, California. This role requires 3 years of acute care experience and includes 13-week duration with 36 hours per week, nights, on a travel basis.

The L&D RN will monitor labor, assist with delivery procedures, and provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after birth. ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Support physician during epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of beds and delivery area.
• Assist with delivery instruments and newborn care.
