Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Delano, California. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights as a travel position. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of acute care experience and relevant L&D certifications.

You will support mothers through labor, delivery, and immediate newborn care in a fast-paced facility. Travel benefits apply. TotalMed offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and a comprehensive benefits package to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Must possess L&D related certifications (BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS, AWHONN).
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix to track dilation progression.
• Assist physicians with drapes, instruments during delivery.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
