TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Templeton, California. The right RN should have 3 years' recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are preferred.

L&D Travel Nurses provide care for women before, during and after delivery. Tasks include assisting with epidurals, monitoring labor, and newborn care. This travel assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with nights on a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Assist physicians during epidurals or pain management procedures.
• Monitor contractions and aid with birthing process.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery support.
