American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist for a teaching hospital's Interventional Radiology unit in Charleston, SC. Requires 2+ years of IR and neuro experience and ARRT (R) certification. On-site travel role with on-call duties and hurricane season responsiveness.

First-time travelers considered; Epic EMR used; scrubs provided. Open to candidates within a 60-mile radius with local consideration on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required, BLS certification also required, ACLS preferred.
• IR and Neuro experience (2+ years) required for the role.
• Radiation safety badge is required and must be supplied by the agency.
• Licensure as applicable in the state where assignment occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Neuro Interventional Radiology coverage in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.
• Manage a daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist.
• Work 5x8 hour day shifts 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; on-call every 5th weekend and one night weekly.
• Operate within Epic EMR; scrubs provided by the facility.
• Travelers may assist with emergency response during hurricane season.

• Minimum of 2 years experience required
• Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
• ACLS and CCI RCIS certifications preferred
• Radiation badge required and must be supplied by the agency
• Proficiency in isolation precautions/PPE, infection control, and sterile technique
• Experience with rapid response/code teams
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Neuro Interventional Radiology unit within a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius
• No floating required to other units or sister facilities
• Uses Epic charting system
• Facility provides scrubs
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies, with non-local candidates prioritized
• All RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November
• Pre-start modules required, averaging 4 hours to complete
