American Traveler seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a peripheral and neuro IR unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role requires ARRT R certification and neuro IR experience, with on-call duties and weekend rotation.

Required are ARRT R, BLS, and state license if applicable, plus a minimum of 1 year experience and Epic EMR familiarity. Travel and housing support may be offered under the contract terms.

Responsibilities

Perform peripheral and neuro interventional radiology procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Provide on-call coverage after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends.
May float to other units or campuses based on census and competencies.
Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a peripheral and neuro IR unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ARRT R certification and neuro IR experience.

Requirements

ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
BLS certification required
SC Radiography State License required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of experience required
1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
Experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
Proficiency operating PACS equipment

Responsibilities

Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
13 to 26 week contract options available
Epic EMR preferred
Perform interventional radiology procedures in a peripheral and neuro-focused IR unit
May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required
First-time travelers will be considered
