Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support cardiac interventional procedures in California. Must have 2+ years IR experience, ARRT/RCIS verification, and state licensure if applicable.

Epic charting experience preferred and strong patient care across adult populations. Looking for a team player ready to work 4x10s with some holiday coverage; travel to sister facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State license valid if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology setting.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekends and holiday coverage as needed.
• Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Equipment setup, room circulating, and maintaining sterile field.
• Float between sister facilities as needed.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a cardiac interventional radiology role requiring 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT or CCI RCIS certification required
• ARRT(R) and California Radiologic Technologist certification required
• Valid state license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with abdominal/pelvic, genitourinary, and vascular angiography and interventional procedures
• Experience with embolization, chemoembolization, angioplasty, stent placement, and IVC filter placement/removal
• Experience with biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, and cystoscopy procedures
• Experience with equipment setup, room circulating, and sterile field scrubbing
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Able to care for young adult, middle adult, and older adult patient populations
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Potential to float between sister facilities
• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and biopsies
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, and maintaining sterile field while scrubbed in
• Candidates may float between facilities as needed
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50 mile radius
• Former employees may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period
