Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology assignment in South Carolina. ARRT certification and at least 1 year of IR experience are required.

Shifts are 5x8 hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with weekend work and on-call duties. Orientation includes pass/fail tests for cardiac dysrhythmia and sedation; prior Epic experience is a plus, and travel experience is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience; 2 years preferred.
• License required if applicable or pending state license must be obtained before starting.
• Recent Epic experience preferred but not required.
• Prior travel experience and first-time traveler acceptance.
• We expect you to report to the lab within 24 hours of signing.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a cardiac IR setting.
• Cover 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Weekend shifts are required and on-call 1–2 nights weekly and every 6th Friday–Sunday.
• Complete Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation pass/fail tests on orientation day with one attempt.
• Adhere to attendance policy; avoid more than two missed shifts per 13 weeks.
• Submit all time-off requests with the initial application.
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles away.
• Former SRHS perm staff cannot return as travelers.

• License required if applicable
• Pending state license accepted, must be obtained prior to starting
• Recent Epic experience preferred but not required
• Prior travel experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a cardiac IR setting
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per week and every 6th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation pass/fail tests administered on the first day of orientation with one attempt to pass
• Must report to the lab within 24 hours of signing
• Attendance policy in place; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application, as later requests will not be considered
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Former SRHS perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers to any SRHS facility
