Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Vascular Access for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour evenings shifts.

As an Infusion/PICC RN you will manage infusion therapy, PICC lines, and related patient education. Responsibilities include assessments, PICC care, IV meds administration, monitoring responses, infection control, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an infusion RN.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligible for State licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine need for infusion therapy or PICC placement.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions and adjust care plans as needed.
