Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN with Vascular Access expertise for a Boston-based assignment. This 13-week travel position requires a 36-hour workweek across 12-hour day shifts, focusing on infusion/PICC care.

The role involves comprehensive infusion management, PICC line care, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. A minimum of one year in infusion settings, current BLS, and state licensure eligibility are required, with additional certifications potentially

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN infusion experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligible for state licensure; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine infusion needs.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous devices with safety.
• Administer IV medications and fluids per protocol and monitor patient responses.
