Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Northampton, Massachusetts. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and an emphasis on infusion therapy and PICC line care.

As an RN Infusion/PICC Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring infusion therapy and PICC management, focusing on safety, education, and effective therapy administration.

Qualifications

• BLS certification and 2 years RN experience required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine infusion therapy or PICC placement needs.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed with proper infusion techniques.
