Job summary

TotalMed RN in Boston, MA is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a 13-week assignment. The role focuses on infusion therapy and PICC line management with 36 hours weekly and 12-hour day shifts.

You will deliver high-quality care, perform assessments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of infusion RN experience, a current BLS, and state licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience in an infusion setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Eligible for State licensure; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine infusion needs and PICC placement.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV meds, fluids, and therapies as prescribed with proper technique.
• Monitor patients during/after infusions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapies.
