Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN with expertise in Vascular Access for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role focuses on infusion therapy and PICC line management, delivering skilled nursing care with emphasis on safety, patient comfort, and education.

Responsibilities include PICC placement and maintenance, IV therapy administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN infusion experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Eligible for state licensure in Massachusetts.
• Infusion/PICC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine need for infusion therapy or PICC placement.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV medications and fluids per protocol with proper technique.
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy at home.
