Western Veterinary Partners is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead a growing portfolio of veterinary hospitals across the Northeast and Midwest. This is a hands-on, strategic role reporting to the COO, overseeing 75+ hospital operations and a $250M–$300M P&L, with ~75% travel.

The ideal leader combines healthcare operations acumen with financial discipline, builds high-performing teams, and partners with clinical leaders to advance patient care, culture, and retention.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 75+ hospitals or multi-site healthcare operations.
• Proven growth, acquisition integration, and profitability track record.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
• Budgeting, staffing, ROI analysis and margin improvement experience.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field (travel 50%+).
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 75+ veterinary hospitals and lead regional teams.
• Coach and develop teams to deliver on strategic mission.
• Drive financial performance, ROI, and physician capacity.
• Partner with marketing, HR, and finance to grow the network.
• Integrate acquisitions and scale operating programs.
