Western Veterinary Partners seeks a seasoned Vice President of Operations to lead 75+ veterinary hospitals across the Northeast and Midwest. You will drive financial performance, people development, and cross-functional partnerships with clinical and operational leaders.

This role involves significant field leadership, travel (~75%), and strategic oversight of growth initiatives, culture, and hospital performance under the COO. Preference for candidates in major metros within specified regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of multi-site healthcare/retail/food service leadership experience.
• Experience growing multi-site businesses through acquisitions and organic growth.
• Ability to analyze complex data and drive strategic improvements using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
• Budgets, staffing, ROI analysis, and margin improvement expertise.
• Willingness to travel ~50% to field sites and partner hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Lead 75+ veterinary hospitals across regions with regional/divisional leaders.
• Drive financial performance, growth, and physician/clinical relationships.
• Partner with COO to scale operations, culture, and patient care.
• Oversee integration of acquired practices with minimal disruption.
