Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager - Dedicated Transportation to oversee the efficient operation of accounts and to drive profitability. This role requires 50-60% travel to customer sites listed in the job posting.

You will manage both salaried and hourly staff, coordinate with senior management and customers, handle payroll and invoicing, and lead safety and compliance initiatives. A bachelor’s in business/logistics is preferred with 3+ years in logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• Options for a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or supply chain preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Two or more years of managing and leading direct reports.
• Advanced knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees; resolve issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and meet demands.
• Be responsible for payroll, accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Hold safety meetings, provide safety training and ensure regulatory compliance.
