Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Three years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Two years or more managing and leading direct reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations, advanced.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements, advanced.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the daily fleet operation.
• Develops policies, programs, and procedures for efficient operations of transportation systems and terminals.
• Sets schedules, routes, and assigns drivers and vehicles.
• First point of contact for operational information including driver scheduling/availability and concerns.
• Recruits, orients, trains, and monitors progression of new drivers.
• Monitors turnover, evaluates operation metrics, and develops cost-control programs.
• Enforces compliance with safety rules and government regulations.
