Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the daily fleet operation.
• Develops policies, programs, and procedures for efficient operations of transportation systems and terminals.
• Sets schedules, routes, and assigns drivers and vehicles.
• First point of contact for operational information including deliveries, issues, backhaul information, driver scheduling, and concerns.
• Submits recommendations to comply with transportation policies and programs.
• Analyzes vehicle and driver schedules to increase efficiency and lower costs.
