Job summary

Xeikon America is seeking a Field Service Technician based near the Manchester, CT area to support digital printing solutions. You will manage customer communication, diagnose and repair on-site, and handle parts logistics while travelling regularly.

Requirements include a technical degree or certification and strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills. Travel up to 70% and on-call weekends should be anticipated. Competitive pay and extensive on-site training are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in electrical engineering or technical field preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills.
• Experience in field service and travel is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate with customers and read technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Customer communication: inform customers about call activities, arrival times, planned calls.
• Troubleshooting & repairs: diagnose failures and perform on-site repairs.
• Inventory management: maintain parts inventory and ship parts after service calls.
• Reporting: provide real-time updates on service call activities.
• Special projects: participate in special projects as requested.
