Job summary

Xeikon is seeking an Installation Engineer to join our North America Service team in the Chicago area. You will travel to customer sites across North America and own new dry-toner press installations from preparation through start-up.

After training, you will represent Xeikon on site, coordinate with customers and internal experts, and ensure systems meet print quality, reliability, safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
• Ability to learn complex technology quickly and translate findings into practical solutions.
• Self-directed, organized and communicative working style with customer ownership.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Xeikon digital printing engines at customer sites across North America.
• Coordinate site readiness and installation plan with customers, logistics, and colleagues.
• Assemble, connect, configure and test mechanical, electrical and software components.
• Diagnose and resolve start-up issues with escalation to second-line experts as needed.
• Document installation activities, findings and feedback accurately and on time.
• Provide preventive and corrective maintenance and technical customer support when installations are lower.
