Job summary

Nordson Measurement & Control is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites across Indiana and adjacent regions. Travel is required to support customer installations and service needs.

The role demands strong technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime. Extensive travel, including potentially international assignments, is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical fields.
• 2+ years of field service or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Repair and replace defective components and parts.
• Respond to service calls and customer support requests.
• Document service activities and maintenance records.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams.
