Job summary

Nordson Measurement & Control is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to diagnose issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Military Equivalent.
• 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Repair and replace defective components and parts.
• Respond to service calls and customer support requests.
• Document service activities and repair reports accurately.
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Travel frequently to customer locations.
