Job summary

Nordson Measurement & Control is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain equipment at customer sites across Georgia and surrounding areas. The role requires travel and strong technical skills to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and software, provide training, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Military Equivalent.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
Repair and replace defective components and parts.
Respond promptly to service calls and customer support requests.
Document service activities and repair reports accurately.
Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers.
Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and sales teams to resolve complex issues.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Travel frequently to customer locations as required.
