Job summary

Nordson Measurement & Control is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites across the region. The role requires travel and a strong customer-service focus.

You will diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, document activities, and collaborate with engineering and sales to resolve complex problems. A technical degree and proven field service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's in Engineering or Military equivalent.
Experience in Industrial Technology a plus.
2+ years of field service or technical support experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software-related issues.
Repair and replace defective components.
Respond to service calls and customer support requests.
Document service activities and repair reports accurately.
Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers.
Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and sales teams to resolve complex issues.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Travel to customer locations as required.
