Aufgaben

• Work in a busy hospital GI/Endoscopy unit.
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• On-call responsibilities may apply with 30 mile/30 minute response requirement to campus.
• Floating may be required in rotation with client staff.
• Uses Epic EMR for charting.
• Perform advanced GI technologist duties supporting a high-volume endoscopy unit.
• Complete orientation modules up to 7 non-billable hours as part of 16-hour new hire orientation.
• Attend mandatory Epic training class unless previously worked at the facility within the past 6 months.
• Smoke and nicotine free facility.
• Expect to work some holidays with minimal RTO discretion.
• Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler.
• Flu vaccination required during flu season unless exempt.
• COVID-19 vaccination or qualifying exemption required.

• National certification not required

• Active VA or Compact license required in hand at time of consideration
• Epic EMR experience required, with documentation of experience within the past year

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy hospital GI/Endoscopy unit
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities may apply for some areas with a 30 mile/30 minute response requirement to campus
• Floating may be required in rotation with client staff per facility policy and Joint Commission standards
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Perform advanced GI technologist duties supporting a high-volume endoscopy unit
• Complete required orientation modules, up to 7 non-billable hours, as part of 16-hour new hire orientation
• Attend mandatory Epic training class (accelerated or 2-day) unless previously worked at the facility within the past 6 months
• Smoke and nicotine free facility
• Expect to work some holidays, with RTO requests kept to a minimum and approved at manager discretion
• Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless qualifying exemption applies
