Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Endoscopy assignment in Augusta, GA. ERCP experience and capability to perform pre/post, circulate, and tech duties are essential. The unit features 3 procedure rooms, 20 daily census, and a 36-hour weekly schedule with 2 ten-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts.

The role requires GA or Compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and experience with ERCP; scrub and charge experience are preferred. Travel-ready benefits and weekend/on-call coverage apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience with ERCP procedures required
• Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Epic charting experience preferred

• Scrub procedure skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Endoscopy unit caring for adult to geriatric patients
• 3 procedure rooms with 11 beds; avg daily census 20
• Patient ratio 1:2
• Day shift 4x9 hours (6:30am-3:30pm); actual schedule 2x10h + 2x8h = 36 hours/week
• Performs ERCP, ERCP with SpyGlass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION
• Must work through pre/post, circulate, and tech roles
• Uses Pyxis and Epic systems
• No floating required
• Work 2-3 weekends per contract
• On-call: 1 weekday + 1 weekend per 6-week schedule
• Provide direct patient care in GI/Endoscopy inpatient setting
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Max 7 days of RTO per contract with blackout dates
• Holiday coverage per major holidays
• First-time travelers welcome
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
• Travelers must be away from all facilities in this health system for one year before traveler assignment
• Travelers who cancel must complete one assignment outside this health system before reapplying

• Day shift schedule consisting of 4x9 hour shifts (6:30am-3:30pm), with actual schedule of 2 ten-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Performs ERCP, ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures
• Must be able to work through pre/post, circulate, and tech roles
• Uses Pyxis and Epic systems
• No floating required
• Required to work 2-3 weekends per contract
• On-call requirements include 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule
• Provide direct patient care in a GI/Endoscopy inpatient setting, including pre/post procedure care, circulating, and tech duties
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Maximum 7 days of RTO per contract, with RTO blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment (New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Permanent, per diem, or internal staff must be away from all facilities in this health system for one full year before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who cancel or are deemed unable to return must complete one assignment outside this health system before reapplying
