American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a GI/Endoscopy Tech with 2+ years of recent experience for a day shift at an acute care hospital in Massachusetts.

The role requires NBSTSA credentials for Surgical Tech contracts and a MA license if applicable, with licensure in hand prior to consideration. Responsibilities include working in the Surgical Services GI/Endo unit on a 7-day schedule, with day shifts 7a–6p, limited on-call, pre-start training, and potential RTO restrictions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endo Tech experience required.
• NBSTSA credentials required for Surgical Tech contracts.
• License required if applicable.
• Permanent MA license required if applicable, must be in hand prior to consideration.
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgical Services GI/Endo unit.
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, varied start times between 7a-6p.
• Monday-Friday schedule as a union facility with no special scheduling accommodations.
• Must be able to work all 7 days as scheduling requires.
• Extremely limited on-call requirements on an as-needed basis.
• Completion of required modules pre-start and during orientation, with additional annual training.
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility.
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system before reapplying.
