TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF laser machines across the United States.

This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and requires willingness to travel nationwide, including international assignments as needed. Candidates should have a two-year technical degree (or equivalent experience), strong electrical/computer diagnostics, and hands-on experience with robotics, lasers, automation, or mechatronics.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in engineering or related field preferred, or combination of training and 2 or more years of experience in technical service, field service, repair or customer service required
• Strong electrical and computer systems experience and high level of diagnostic skills
• Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems or mechatronics required

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF equipment with high quality
• Demonstrate and educate lasers and systems to customers and associates
• Provide on-call 24/7 telephone support as required and participate in rotating on-call
• Travel nationwide 100% and lift/transport up to 70 lbs as needed
