TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships across the United States.

This role requires 100% nationwide travel, including overnight stays and occasional international travel. Ideal candidates have mechanical and electrical hands-on experience, plus knowledge of software, electronics, digital circuits, wiring and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical hands-on work experience.
• Knowledge of computer software, electronics, and digital circuits.
• Experience with wiring and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance.
• Provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support and cross-functional teams.
• Read and utilize repair manuals and work orders for repairs.
• Assemble, install, align equipment and replace or install parts.
• Report technical conditions and information of machines to PSG and management.
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair of machines.
• Submit organized service reports for each repair mission.
