Job summary

Intrepid Travel is seeking a Fleet and Operations Coordinator to ensure fleet, vehicle, and driver readiness for field travel. You’ll support safe, compliant operations and coordinate field-readiness workflows from our Golden, CO office.

Responsibilities include maintaining checklists, coordinating permits, and providing hands-on support such as warehouse tasks, shuttle driving, and field readiness projects. A strong travel background and DOT driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in travel industry preferred.
• Highly organized and communicative in a dynamic team.
• Experience using Word and Excel for information management.
• Must meet DOT driving requirements and complete background check.
• Willing to lift up to 50 lbs and perform field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fleet systems, vehicle and driver compliance, permits and field-readiness workflows.
• Maintain systems, checklists, and communication processes for consistency across trip operations.
• Provide hands-on operational support including warehouse organization, facility maintenance, fleet errands, shuttle driving, field evacuation support and guide check-ins.
