Wachter, Inc. seeks experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion Installation Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide. Ideal candidates travel extensively, work independently, and prioritize safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in field installation within security environments (Fire Alarm/Intrusion).
• Current and valid state-required Physical Security and/or Life Safety license.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70/72 and blueprints/site maps.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems infrastructure.
• Run low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings; drill concrete walls as needed.
• Install cable support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Test to ensure installed systems and devices are operational.
• Troubleshoot cable networks and fire alarm panels; ensure NFPA compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety requirements.
