Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion Installation Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide.

Candidates should be able to travel extensively and work independently while ensuring safety and compliance. The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay based on experience, weekly pay, per-diem for overnight travel, a company vehicle in some cases, and opportunities for certification and career advancement

Qualifications

• Proven field installation experience in security environments (Fire Alarm and/or Intrusion).
• NFPA 70/72 knowledge or equivalent.
• Experience reading blueprints/site maps.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial environments.
• Run low-voltage cabling and install cable support structures.
• Test systems and verify operation of devices and panels.
• Adhere to NFPA standards and safety requirements.
• Document work thoroughly and coordinate with team on pre-installation planning.
