Qualifications

• Experience in field installation within security environments (fire alarm or intrusion).
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and codes relevant to life safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial settings.
• Run low-voltage cabling and install support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Test systems and ensure compliance with NFPA 70/72.
• Read plans and collaborate on pre-install design with team.
• Document work accurately and follow safety requirements.

Skills

NFPA standards knowledge (NFPA 70 & 72

Reading blueprints/site maps

Working at heights 20-60 ft

Cramped spaces and lifts operation

PPE compliance and transportation

Proficiency with smartphones/computers

Extensive travel availability (2-6 wks

Driver’s license with clean record

Education

NICET Level 2 certification
