Qualifications

Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
Ability to run low-voltage cabling in commercial settings, including drilling and conduit work.
Work in compliance with NFPA 70 and NFPA 72 standards.
Willingness to travel nationwide and work independently.

Responsibilities

Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems infrastructure
Running low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work
Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct
Conducting tests to ensure all installed cable systems and devices are operational
Troubleshooting issues with cable networks and fire alarm panels
Ensuring installations comply with NFPA standards
Collaborating with team on pre-installation design and planning
Maintaining accurate records of all work performed
